3 deaths occurred at the detroit marathon. One man fell on his head??? and another two collapsed towards the end of the race and were pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of death of the last two were unknown. I bet it was heart failure. My boyfriend hopes to do an iron man race in two years, and it costs about $500 just to enter the event because of insurance issues. I guess a lot of people's hearts fail during such intense activity. It kind of freaks me out.
