Initial Body Extension Proposal

For my body extension, I am making a headpiece that both blinds and allows the user to find his way in a room without the use of sight.  The headpiece will consist of several foam cylinders (about 12" long) exiting from a vinyl hat/blindfold.  As the user walks around a room, theoretically he can avoid any obstacles presented by the use of the gentle foam "feelers".  I may or may not decide to add foam cylinders to a foot piece to enhance the sensory extension.  I will construct the long foam parts from smaller foam pieces hot glued together.  I will sew the vinyl base and sew the foam parts to it.
